Scarlet Skips is out on Steam, and Steam is the only place Yerk Games distributes it. This page covers the store side: listing status, price, regional pricing, bundles, reviews, store features, system requirements and content descriptors.

Every third-party figure carries a retrieval date. Facts come from the Steam store listing or a SteamDB capture retrieved on September 16, 2026; anything never published, or certainly moved since, is marked Unconfirmed. For how a run works, see the rules and controls page and the upgrades guide.

The two release timestamps sit two seconds apart — the normal gap between the store flag and the Steam build flag flipping — and the store page shows players the same day. SteamDB records Yerk Games as developer and publisher, matching the store credit, and the copyright line reads © 2026 YerkDiff. Neither source names an individual, so who personally made the game stays Unconfirmed; the overview page covers that.

Price: $4.99 on the store, $3.29 as the recorded low

The listing prices Scarlet Skips at $4.99 USD. SteamDB's price block for App 4513480, captured September 16, 2026, uses a lower baseline: it lists a current price of $3.29 and a lowest recorded price of $3.29, dated 3 September 2026. That $3.29 is the MENA region's U.S. Dollar row, the cheapest entry in SteamDB's currency table, while the U.S. Dollar row on the same page reads $4.99. Both are real and come from one capture; what a buyer pays depends on region. The price-history graph did not load, so no discount curve is quoted here.

Selected rows from that table, as captured on September 16, 2026:

CurrencyPriceConvertedvs. the $3.29 baseline
MENA - U.S. Dollar$3.29$3.29baseline
Chinese Yuan¥ 22$3.27−0.40%
Taiwan DollarNT$ 117$3.67+11.62%
Japanese Yen¥ 655$4.22+28.31%
U.S. Dollar$4.99$4.99+51.67%
Euro5,19€$5.98+82.01%
British Pound£4.59$6.18+87.99%

The percentage column is SteamDB's own comparison against the $3.29 baseline — the U.S. Dollar gap is exactly the $4.99-versus-$3.29 ratio — so it measures how far regional pricing spreads, not a discount that was live. Regional prices change without notice.

Bundles on the store page

Two bundles sit beside the standalone game in the purchase block:

  • Scarlet's Bow — two items, a −10% bundle discount, $7.72 against $8.98 bought separately. The same block carries a −14% figure the capture does not explain.
  • Forgotten Friends — three items, a −25% discount, $20.22.

The capture gives prices but no full contents list: it links App 4513480 with a second app, 1068840, whose name it does not record. Unconfirmed: either bundle's exact composition beyond those item counts and prices.

Reviews: 78% positive in the SteamDB review field

The SteamDB metadata capture, retrieved September 16, 2026, carries review_score 6 and review_percentage 78 — 78% of the reviews counted at that moment were positive. SteamDB maps those scores onto word labels, but the capture does not show which word 6 means, so this page names no rating label. Unconfirmed: the descriptor wording behind review_score 6.

A snapshot from around September 5, 2026 showed roughly 74% positive from about 708 reviews, with the SteamDB field reading about 76% in the same window. The sample is small enough that two points is a handful of reviews — read the live store page before quoting one.

Store features and languages

  • Steam Deck: Verified; the capture's storefront rendered the badge as its local word for "approved".
  • Achievements: the listing states the game includes 1 Steam achievement.
  • Controller support: full, per the SteamDB metadata key.
  • Community: the hub is visible and community stats are public.
  • Mode and language: single-player, with an English interface listed. The capture came from the Turkish storefront, which shows Turkish itself as unsupported.

A store-API capture taken September 4, 2026 for our mods page listed the categories as single-player, Steam achievements, keyboard-only option, mouse-only option, partial controller support and family sharing. No Workshop entry appears there, and that list is where Workshop support would surface first.

System requirements

Both tiers, from the listing — the capture came from a localized storefront, so the labels below are the same fields in English:

RequirementMinimumRecommended
OSWindows 10Windows 10
CPUIntel i7-6700HQAMD Ryzen 9 3900X
RAM8 GB16 GB
GPUNVIDIA GTX 1060NVIDIA RTX 2080
DirectXVersion 12Version 12
Storage2 GB available2 GB available

The tiers share OS, DirectX and storage; the gap is CPU, RAM and GPU. DirectX 12 on both rules out pre-Windows-10 machines and DX11-only cards however light the arcade presentation looks. SteamDB's osarch and osextended fields are empty, so there is no separate 32-bit/64-bit note to report.

What the SteamDB capture does not show

The charts page carried the price block, metadata keys and store-asset details above — and nothing about how many people own, follow or play the game. Its chart regions rendered empty and the price graph never loaded. Unconfirmed: any follower count, wishlist estimate or concurrent-player figure as of September 16, 2026. No popularity claim is made here from that capture beyond the review percentage.

The clearest outside-Steam signal in the same snapshot is video interest: "Scarlet Skips 100% Speedrun (World Record)" at 360,266 views for 26:30, and "Scarlet Skips - Full Game 100% Walkthrough" at 287,347 views for 31:25. Those counts are as captured and the capture does not record when they were read, so treat them as approximate. The speedrun page covers the routes.

Content descriptors

The listing carries an adult-content declaration supplied by the developer, worded exactly as: suggestive themes, revealing clothing, exaggerated animation on suggestive body parts, general mature content. It is reproduced here as the store's own label — a presentation classification, not a statement that the game contains explicit scenes. Nothing in the official material describes story content of that kind; the game is a one-button arcade score chaser.

Studio channels and assets

SteamDB's social block lists five accounts, all on the YerkDiff handle: Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube. The listing ships English library assets (capsule, hero, logo, header). Channel activity — patch notes, roadmap posts — is not captured, so Unconfirmed: any announced patch, DLC or future platform plan.
