Scarlet Skips Mods: Current List & How to Install
Scarlet Skips does not ship with mod support, and as of September 2026 the Steam Workshop is not part of its store listing. The community mod scene has grown anyway — fast. What was a loader plus three gameplay mods on Nexus Mods at launch is now a hub of fifteen publicly visible mods two weeks later, with new uploads every few days and the loader alone past 3,800 downloads. Everything there is unofficial: Yerk Games has not commented on mods.
What Steam officially supports
The Steam category list for App 4513480, read from the Steam store API on September 4, 2026, contains:

Steam Workshop is not among those categories. The store description covers the one-button input scheme, the ten upgrade cards, and the animation system, and it does not mention modding, custom content, or an editor. The Steam page lists the store-side fields those categories were read alongside.
The launch-window community discussions asked about mods repeatedly, and those threads have since filled in with player answers rather than developer ones. In "Is gonna be easy to install mods?", a September 12 reply now explains the pak-file method (covered below), and a September 14 reply notes that "NexusMods already has a few different ones. Some native and some using UE4SS." No reply in any mod thread is flagged as coming from the developer.

Nexus's own browse text describes the hub as 19 mods; only 15 are visible with adult content hidden, so the remainder are adult-flagged files that require a logged-in Nexus account with adult content enabled. This guide does not cover them.
Two ways to install, depending on the mod
The install method is not one-size-fits-all — it follows the split above.
For UE4SS script mods, the loader goes in first. Its page gives the full instruction: "extract into your game's install folder so ue4ss sits next to the game .exe, then drop the other mods into ue4ss/Mods." Each gameplay mod then lists the loader as a requirement. One extra detail from the luck mod's page: you can check UE4SS.log if you want to watch the numbers climb in real time.
For skin and outfit mods, no loader is needed. These are native pak files, and the community method — posted in the Steam discussions on September 12 and matching the instructions on the mod pages themselves — is:

Some skin mod pages instead say to drop their files directly into Paks and keep the originals; the ~mods subfolder approach keeps mod files separate from the game's own paks and is the safer habit. Skin packs built for the Scarlet Skin Menu are the exception: they need the menu mod, and therefore UE4SS, installed first.
What the gameplay mods actually change
The three original script mods automate things the in-game upgrade cards already do, using the same triggers the cards use:
- Luck Be A Lady quietly raises Luck by +5 every 5 seconds, with no card required — load in and start skipping. It is fully automatic, has no keybind, and stays on until you disable the mod.
- This Rope Is Lit sets the rope on fire through the same trigger as the Ignite Jumprope card, checking every 600 ms. No card pick, no keybind: the rope catches fire on its own and stays lit.
- Scarlet's Rope Hits The Gym binds reinforcing to F5, letting you strengthen the current rope on demand instead of waiting for the Reinforce Jumprope card to show up in a level-up offer.
In other words, they remove the randomness of waiting for specific cards rather than adding brand-new effects. How the mods interact with scoring, and whether using them is safe for your save in the long run, is not documented on the mod pages — treat it as unconfirmed.
The warning about mod download sites
Sites offering Scarlet Skips mod downloads, free copies, or an APK are not connected to Yerk Games — the game's one distribution channel is Steam. Unofficial files can be modified, unsafe, outdated, or unrelated to the game. The legitimate community host for the mods above is Nexus Mods; anything pairing a "Scarlet Skips mods" promise with free full-game downloads or APK files is riding the game's name without the developer's involvement.
Could Workshop support come later?
Nothing rules it out, and nothing points to it either. As of September 2026 there was no roadmap, no Steam news post, and no developer reply on the subject. One practical tell exists: if Workshop support is ever added, it appears as a category on the Steam store page.
